Renal Cortical
Cysts
- Varying degrees of cortical
cysts.
- Rarely nodular renal
blastema.
Hyperlobulation
- Hyperlobulated external surface
of the kidney.
(Fetal lobulation is normal).
- May be associated with renal
enlargement.
Dysplasia
- Maldevelopment of the cells
and tissues (histological diagnosis).
- Dysplasia is usually cystic,
varying between a multicystic appearance that distorts the renal
configuration and a diffuse cystic pattern that resembles infantile
polycystic disease.
